     Dolores local operations

 

Dolores, Colorado celebrates “Escalante Days” the second weekend of August each year. On Saturday the Galloping Goose is operated on the 100 yards of track in front of the RGS Depot and Town Hall. These rides are free.

 

The only other time the Goose may operate locally is for a special planned tours or mechanical tests. Please stop by for a visit to the RGS Museum where the Goose is parked and maybe you will be lucky enough to see and hear it in action.
